So this post is a little late. Since I got home from Vancouver last Sunday I've been sick and packing boxes for the big move.


So last weekend I headed over to Vancouver to see one of my long time favourite bands Spirit of the West.

It was two fun nights of being with friends and like minded people. Darryl and his girlfriend Caity joined me for the first night at the Commodore.  Later that evening our table was crashed by an Irish guy and his buddy from Chemanius who end up buying a few rounds for the table. Jagerbombs! They remind me of a night after Oktoberfest in Munich when we drank a shitload of them then caught a train the next morning back to Prague when I felt like dying.

Night two I met up with Shayne and grabbed some Crepes and a drink. Mine was a coke his a beer. Weird. Then it was off to the Commodore for more Spirit.  The show was great and during an encore the performed "The Crawl"  with Barney Bentall and Ashley MacIsaac.

Both shows easily made it into my Top Ten Concerts list. But more about that later.
