In the last week I've given up on modern rock. I've dedicated my days and nights listening to Rush, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and other classic rock artists.

They are classics for a reason. I never get tired of listening to them were as in the case of the "modern" rock and indie bands I discover for myself I tend to listen to till I can no longer listen to their music (or at least for a few months).

I have been getting better at not doing that, but once in a while an album or two will slip into high rotation on the ipod/cd player/record player around here and I have to retire it for a while.

I think the problem is I love music to much. It is always on.
